Never take the price paid for Ghana’s freedom for granted – Alban Bagbin

Alban Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, has urged Ghanaians not to take the freedom they enjoy for granted.

Further, he asked Ghanaians to re-dedicate themselves to the ideals of democracy, freedom, and justice.

Our nation’s anniversary demands that we reflect on our progress and re-dedicate ourselves to the ideals of democracy, freedom, and justice that our forefathers fought for. We cannot ignore the ultimate price many paid for our independence. “Our freedoms came at a steep price, so we must never take them for granted,” the Speaker said.

The 66th Independence Anniversary of Ghana was celebrated in Adaklu on March 6, 2023.

Ghanaians are called on to focus on nation-building.

As Ghana celebrates its 66th anniversary of independence. In his address, the Speaker appealed to all Ghanaians to work together with a nation-building focus and mindset to build a stronger, more respected and prosperous country.
