Residential Building In Uman Partially Destroyed As Result Of Missile Hit

According to Ukraine’s Interior Ministry, at least 20 people were killed in a Russian missile attack on Uman on Friday.

During the CNN team’s visit to the attack site, they witnessed the bodies of the victims being retrieved from the basement of a residential building was among the three high-rise buildings hit by two rockets, including a warehouse.

The Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, revealed the building was hit and had 46 apartments, and 27 of them were completely destroyed. He also stated that it could take a day to clear all the rubble.

According to reports, the strike, which was carried out using a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile, may have caused the most significant number of civilian fatalities in a single event since the Dnipro apartment block missile attack in January.
