GRA grants amnesty for owners of uncustomed automobiles

JJHHHJ

The Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has announced a two-month amnesty for owners of uncustomed vehicles, running from August 1 to September 30, 2024.

According to a notice signed by the GRA Commissioner-General, all penalties typically imposed when such vehicles are confiscated by Customs officials will be waived during this amnesty period.

All users of uncustomed vehicles are being urged by the Commissioner-General to seize this chance to regularize the documentation of vehicles that were brought into the nation illegally.
