Ademola Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, has expressed that his victory at the Supreme Court signifies God’s authority and supremacy. He stated that the will of God had prevailed against the anti-masses plot of evil forces. Adeleke promised to maintain his focus on delivering good governance to the people of Osun State and urged stakeholders to work together with his administration to advance the state.
He described the victory as a historic landmark in the history of Osun politics and dedicated it to God. He also pledged to govern with the fear of God and reaffirmed that his governorship was an affirmation that he was for the people, by the people. He called on all Osun residents and citizens to join hands in developing the state regardless of party affiliation.
Adeleke expressed his gratitude to his family, supporters, and the Imole community in Nigeria and abroad. He assured the people of Osun that his administration would continue implementing their five-point agenda and focus on grassroots development, agricultural revival, and policies that combat poverty, insecurity, unemployment, and underdevelopment.
