Agyinasare Given Ultimatum to appear before Nogokpo traditional leaders

Bishop-Agyin-Asare

The Chiefs and residents of Nogokpo in the Ketu South Municipality have issued a 14-day ultimatum for the founder of Perez Chapel International, Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, to appear before the traditional leaders. This request stems from a viral video in which the Archbishop referred to Nogokpo as the center of demonic activities in the Volta Region.

In response to the backlash, Archbishop Agyinasare clarified he did not intend to insult any specific group or community, and he expressed regret for any misrepresentation or misinformation that resulted from the subsequent commentary and reporting.

However, the Chiefs maintain they will take further action if the Archbishop cannot comply with their request. They believe he must rectify the damage caused to the town’s reputation.
Background:

During a recent summit held at the Perez Chapel headquarters in Accra, Archbishop Charles Agyin-Asare preached about divine protection and the existence of evil forces. He recounted an incident where his team encountered spiritual attacks while hosting a crusade in the Volta Region.

The Archbishop mentioned that during their stay in Agbozume, en route to Nogokpo, the tire of Bishop Yaw Adu’s four-wheel drive came off the car, attributing the incident to the perceived demonic influence in Nogokpo.

The publication of the video online has sparked widespread criticism and backlash against the Church leader on social media platforms.
