Independent presidential candidate and leader of the Movement for Change, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen, has called on Ghanaians to reject political parties that attempt to buy their votes with money in the upcoming December 7 elections.

Addressing an enthusiastic crowd of supporters in Obogu, Asante Akim South Constituency, Kyerematen expressed his disapproval of politicians who distribute money to voters after neglecting them for years. “They will come and offer you money, but think carefully before accepting it,” he warned.

He emphasized that the act of giving money at the last minute demonstrates a lack of respect for voters. “If they have ignored you all these years and now they bring money, it simply means they don’t respect you,” Kyerematen stated.

In a heartfelt message that resonated with the people of Obogu, Kyerematen highlighted that the true purpose of politics is to bring positive change to people’s lives. He urged the voters to hold the ruling party accountable, stating, “We engage in politics to develop the country. If there’s been no progress under their leadership, it’s time to vote them out.”

Kyerematen is currently on a 19-day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region, aiming to make a significant impact in the upcoming elections.
