Apostle Michael Kwabena Ntumy, the former chairman of The Church of Pentecost, has passed away. The global Pentecostal church, headquartered in Ghana, mourns the loss of its fourth chairman on Wednesday, December 27, as reported by Newstitbits.

Apostle Ntumy dedicated himself to The Church of Pentecost at the young age of 26, working full-time. His journey took a pivotal turn at thirty-three when he received a call to the apostleship. Six years later, he was elected as the fourth chairman of The Church of Pentecost, serving for two terms totaling ten years.

Apostle Ntumy’s leadership was marked by resilience, as he overcame significant challenges, including imprisonment in rebel territory during the Libyan Civil War in the 1990s. Additionally, he faced physical attacks, poisoning, and paralysis, compelling him to use a wheelchair.

His successor, Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah, took over the chairmanship following Apostle Ntumy’s dedicated service to The Church of Pentecost. Apostle Ntumy leaves behind a legacy of steadfast commitment and perseverance in the face of adversity.
