Mr. Asiedu-Mante, the former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, has passed away. He died on Mr. Asiedu-Mante died on Monday night at age 81.

Asiedu-Mante was a highly respected figure in Ghana’s banking sector and had a distinguished career in both the public and private sectors. He served as Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana from 2009 to 2013, during which he played a key role in the country’s development and financial industry.

Before his appointment to the central bank, Asiedu-Mante had worked in several senior positions in various banks in Ghana. He was the Managing Director of CAL Bank Limited and the Standard Chartered Bank Ghana, and also served on the boards of several other institutions.

Asiedu-Mante was widely regarded as a banking expert and respected by his colleagues and peers. He will always be remembered for his contributions to the development of Ghana’s financial industry.

Junior Asiedu-Mante said the family is yet to meet for the funeral arrangements.
