The Asokore Mampong District Court has postponed the proceedings in the case involving actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lil Win, until July 29, 2024, pending guidance from the Attorney-General’s Department.

During the court session on Thursday, Assistant Superintendent of Police Emelia Owusu Ansah, the prosecutor, disclosed that the case files had been forwarded to the AG’s Department for examination and recommendations.

Lil Win faces charges of dangerous driving and negligently causing harm following a tragic accident involving a vehicle he was driving, resulting in the death of a three-year-old boy.

Previously, the court had granted him bail set at GH¢50,000 with two sureties.

Judge Samuel Buabin Quansah, presiding over the case, adjourned proceedings to await the Attorney-General’s advice, setting the next hearing date for July 29, 2024.
