During the commissioning of two court premises in the Central Region of Ghana, Chief Justice Anin Yeboah encouraged the staff of the Judicial Service to exhibit fairness and honesty in the execution of their duties. Justice Anin Yeboah emphasized that as representatives of the court, the actions of the Judicial Service staff can either shape or damage the image of the service.
The Chief Justice expressed his conviction that establishing district courts such as those in Gomoa Central and Agona East would expedite justice delivery by decreasing the turnaround time of seeking justice. These two court premises are part of a nationwide initiative to construct over a hundred court buildings to enhance justice delivery in various areas.
Chief Justice Anin Yeboah urged the Judicial Service staff to view themselves as ambassadors of the service and justice delivery. He emphasized that this should entail being truthful, impartial, and transparent in their dealings with members of the public who seek justice. The District Chief Executives for Gomoa Central and Agona East, Benjamin Kojo Otoo and Janet Odei Paintsil, in an interview, expressed their confidence that establishing these district courts in their respective districts would help address legal issues.
