A press release from the Ghana Police Service’s Public Affairs Directorate revealed that 28 of the suspects were remanded into police custody, while 11 were placed in prison custody.

“The court remanded 28 of them into police custody and the remaining 11 into prison custody,” the statement confirmed.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Grace Ansah-Akrofi, stated that 30 of the accused are scheduled to reappear in court on October 8, with the remaining nine set to appear on October 11.

“The remaining suspects will also be brought before the court to face justice,” she added.
