Ghanaian dance duo Abigail and Afronita have earned a spot in the final of Britain’s Got Talent after delivering a spectacular performance in the fourth semi-final.
The pair, composed of 20-year-old dance teacher Afronita and her 7-year-old protégé Abigail, mesmerized the audience and judges with a vibrant Azonto routine set to “Brighter Days” by Sigala.
Their performance captivated the public, securing them the vote needed to advance to Sunday’s final. Judge Simon Cowell praised their talent, suggesting they have a strong chance of winning.
Afronita and Abigail’s act was met with thunderous applause from the audience. Judge Alesha Dixon lauded their performance, saying it had:
“So much natural sauce, so much flavour, personality, and joy.”
Afronita discovered Abigail, a deaf dancer who won Talented Kids in 2023, when she opened her own dance studio.
Their dynamic partnership has now propelled them to the Britain’s Got Talent final, with both the audience and judges cheering them on to win.
