The ‘Hands Off Our Hotel’ demonstration against the sale of four SSNIT hotels to Rock City Hotel Limited, owned by Agriculture Minister Bryan Acheampong, is taking place today, June 18.
Led by Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, the protest aims to pressure President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to halt the sale.
Ablakwa has assured a peaceful protest and expects presidential representatives to receive their petition at the Christ the King Catholic Church.
He has already petitioned CHRAJ to investigate the transaction but feels compelled to act due to ongoing efforts to finalize the deal despite widespread opposition
