Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye wins primaries

Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye, the CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), has emerged victorious in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) orphan primaries for the Ledzokuku Constituency in preparation for the 2024 parliamentary elections.

 

In the contest, Dr. Boye, a former Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, secured a resounding win with 902 votes out of the total valid votes cast. His closest rival, Collins Nii Ashitey Ollenu, garnered 354 votes, while Clifford Martey secured 199 votes.

 

Ibrahim Adjei, a presidential aide, secured the fourth position with 180 votes out of the 1,635 valid votes cast. The results affirm Dr. Boye’s successful bid to represent the NPP in the upcoming parliamentary elections for the Ledzokuku Constituency.
