The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has assured residents in the Volta and Oti regions of a reliable and consistent electricity supply throughout the Christmas season.

Christina Jatoe Kaleo, the Volta Regional General Manager of ECG, emphasized the company’s dedication to providing uninterrupted power to ensure a joyful festive celebration for all.

Ms. Kaleo highlighted that ECG’s primary focus during the holiday period is maintaining seamless power delivery. She acknowledged the challenges faced in 2024, including infrastructure maintenance and increasing electricity demand, but noted significant achievements and outlined strategic plans to address these issues in the coming year.

To guarantee stable power supply, ECG has deployed essential personnel in billing, maintenance, and operations who will remain on duty throughout the festive season.

Customers are encouraged to report any issues or concerns through ECG’s call center or the ECG Power App.

Ms. Kaleo also appealed to the public to avoid illegal electricity activities, such as power theft, and urged them to report such incidents. Whistle-blowers will be rewarded for their cooperation.

Additionally, she advised customers to conserve energy and promptly settle their bills to support ECG’s ongoing operations and service delivery.
