An Accra High Court has granted the Electoral Commission approval to proceed with the recollation of parliamentary election results in the Nsawam Adoagyiri and Ablekuma North constituencies.
The decision sparked a tense exchange between Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, a lawyer representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and the presiding judge.
Previously, the NDC had obtained a court injunction to halt the recollation of results in the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency. However, the latest ruling effectively overturns that injunction, clearing the way for the process to continue.
The recollation is expected to resume shortly.
