The family of Lance Corporal Michael Danso, who was murdered in Millennium City, Kasoa, has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to expedite investigations into his death.
During the burial service, Nana Abena Aboagye, a family member, expressed the family’s pain and anguish over the killing of their son by Benlord Ababio. She emphasized that achieving justice for their loved one would serve as a deterrent to criminals in Ghana.
Nana Antwi Boasiako, Akyeanpim Hene of Kyebi in the Eastern Region, also urged the IGP to fast-track the investigation into Lance Corporal Danso’s death.
Meanwhile, Colonel DN Duodo, Director of Army Religious Affairs, cautioned military personnel to avoid engaging in activities that could endanger their lives at the hands of civilians.
The funeral service was attended by family members, military personnel, and traditional leaders, who all paid their respects to the late Lance Corporal Danso.
