Musician Fantana, known for her controversial role in the Netflix series “Young, Famous and African,” recently shared her experience in a Graphic Showbiz interview. Despite enjoying the fun and positive aspects of being featured on the popular show, she admitted her initial encounters on set were awkward.

In the interview, Fantana, whose real name is Francine Nyanko Koffi, acknowledged her gradual improvement in acting skills. She mentioned that although the cameras initially made her uncomfortable, she eventually grew accustomed to them. While reflecting on her time in front of the camera, she highlighted her previous appearances in music videos and a documentary titled “My Perfect Funeral.”

Besides her acting pursuits, Fantana debunked the common belief that achieving success in the music industry as a female is challenging. She emphasized that thriving in the industry becomes more manageable once a woman discovers her strengths and abilities. Fantana expressed this viewpoint in a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, where she also discussed her latest song, “Your Man,” an Afro-Dancehall track produced by Streetbeatz. The song portrays Fantana’s confidence in attracting any man she desires.

Looking ahead, Fantana revealed her plans for the future. She disclosed she is working on her upcoming EP, “Pills and Concoctions,” set to be released next month. She announced another single would be released this month. Fantana mentioned her interest in pursuing movie and TV roles, and she is in close contact with her management team to determine the most suitable course of action.
