Governor Ademola Adeleke to Enroll Pensioners in OHIS

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has taken steps to address health challenges faced by pensioners in the region. He plans to enroll them in the Osun State Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS). During a meeting with the pensioners’ leadership, the Governor also emphasized his loyalty to their well-being. He further announced the immediate payment of pension entitlements based on the earlier released template.

The Governor’s media aide, Olawale Rasheed, stated the Governor is working on finalizing the details of the health insurance enrollment and will release them soon for implementation. The Governor also reiterated that the template for clearing outstanding salaries and pensions remains effective and instructed the Head of Service to expedite the payment of pension arrears under the approved template. The Governor assured the pensioners that their welfare is a top priority and that phased payments will continue until all obligations are met.
