According to reports, John Dumelo, who was a parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general elections in Ghana, has denied giving his blessing to Fred Nuamah to run for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency in the next general election.
John Dumelo reportedly stated that he has no problem with Fred Nuamah joining politics, but he did not give his approval for him to contest in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency. He added that he believes the NDC should select a candidate who is committed to serving the people of the constituency.
Fred Nuamah, on the other hand, has expressed his interest in running for the parliamentary seat in Ayawaso West Wuogon, which is currently held by the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency is known for its hotly contested elections and has been in the news for various reasons in recent years. The upcoming election is expected to be no different, with many personalities expressing their interest in running for the seat.
