Ghanaian gospel singer Joe Mettle expressed remorse for not taking his music lessons seriously during his school days, despite now achieving success in the music industry. In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the renowned artist known for his hit song “Kadosh” admitted that he did not dedicate himself to his music course because he had no intention of pursuing it.
Reflecting on his past, Joe Mettle stated, “I should have given more importance to my music lessons while in school. I had no idea I would eventually embrace music, so I didn’t take it seriously. It is one of my life’s regrets.”
With seven albums to his name and numerous accolades, including being the first gospel artist to win the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of the Year in 2017, Joe Mettle expressed contentment with his identity and the path God has chosen for him. He emphasized, “I wouldn’t trade who I am for anything. I appreciate the way God has shaped me and the purpose He has assigned to me.”
Aside from his music career, Joe Mettle shared his happiness in marriage. He wed his wife, Salomey Selassie Dzisa, in 2020 and described marriage as a positive experience, stating, “As you can see, marriage is treating me very well. The evidence speaks for itself. My family is thriving, and I am grateful to God for everything.”
Expressing gratitude to his fans, Joe Mettle acknowledged their support for his God-given talent and ministry. He recognized their significance, remarking, “I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for backing the gift and ministry God entrusted me. I believe ministry revolves around people, so there would be no ministry without their support.
