Former President John Dramani Mahama is touring the Western Region as part of his campaign for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) May 13 presidential primaries. As the leading candidate for the NDC in the upcoming 2024 general elections, Mr. Mahama is visiting all 275 constituencies to engage with branch and constituency executives. He has already seen 179 constituencies in ten regions and met with over 251,000 delegates.
During his two-day tour of the Western North, Mr. Mahama will visit nine constituencies before moving on to the Ashanti Region for the second phase of his campaign in that region. His campaign theme is “Building Ghana We Want Together,” he has assured the NDC members the campaign for victory in 2024 will be focused on the party’s branches and wards. Mr. Mahama has expressed his commitment to providing the campaign logistics and expects the branch executives to work hard and mobilize votes for a decisive win in December 2024.
