Candidate Peter Obi, representing the Labour Party (LP), has presented certified copies of election results from six states in Nigeria to support his claim that he won the presidential election held on February 25. The results were obtained from 115 Local Government Areas and were tendered as evidence before the Presidential Election Petition Court in Abuja.
The court admitted as exhibits the results from Rivers State, Benue State, Cross River State, Niger State, Osun State, and.

The respondents in the case, including the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and the All Progressives Congress (APC), opposed the admissibility of the results. Obi and the LP argued Tinubu was not a valid election winner and challenged his participation eligibility based on alleged previous indictments and fines.

The petitioners also claimed the election was invalid due to corrupt practices and non-compliance with electoral regulations. They seek various remedies, including declaring Obi the winner or conducting a fresh election excluding Tinubu and the APC. The court proceedings were adjourned until the following day, and Obi and his running mate, Baba Ahmed Datti, were present in court.
