The police have apprehended a suspect believed to be involved in the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, the son of the late Ghanaian historian and NPP stalwart, Professor Albert Adu Boahen.
Dr. Adu Boahen was tragically attacked and killed during a robbery at his residence in East Legon, Accra, on March 17, 2024.
In a statement dated March 19, 2024, the police announced the arrest of the suspect, identified as Mark Forson, following a complaint lodged by the deceased’s family.
“On March 17, 2024, the police received a report from the deceased’s relatives indicating that he was found dead in his room under suspicious circumstances.
“A team of police investigators and crime scene experts promptly visited the scene to initiate an investigation, leading to the apprehension of the suspect.
