Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is gearing up to host the ReachOut World Extravaganza, an event to spread the Gospel to every corner of the globe. Scheduled to occur online on Friday and Saturday, May 5-6, 2023, at reachoutworld.org, the event will also commemorate the love of Jesus and the Church’s evangelism efforts through its Rhapsody of Realities book.
During his recent teaching titled “YourLoveworld,” Pastor Chris, the Founder and President of Loveworld Inc., emphasized the need to intensify the work of evangelism. He noted that throughout history, world evangelization had passed down from generation to generation but still needs to be completed.
However, he believes that now is a unique moment when the Church has an extraordinary opportunity to fulfill this mission, thanks to the availability of Rhapsody of Realities in all known languages.
Pastor Chris highlighted that Rhapsody of Realities is accessible not only to the sighted but also to children, teenagers, and those who are visually impaired through a Braille version available in hundreds of languages. Currently, Rhapsody of Realities is translated into an impressive 7,858 languages, a remarkable achievement considering the challenges faced during the 22-year-long project.
The ReachOut World Extravaganza aims to showcase the Church’s efforts in spreading the Gospel and allow individuals to learn how to be part of this critical mission. The event promises to celebrate the love of Jesus and a rallying call to continue the work of evangelism until it is completed. Pastor Chris emphasized that this is a meaningful opportunity for the Church, unlike any in the past 2000 years, and it is crucial not to miss or overlook it.
