The Ghana Police Service has announced a reward of GHC20,000 for information leading to the arrest of individuals in Obuasi who have been threatening violence ahead of the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The suspects, identified as Fuseini Yahuza, Bernard Ahedor, Simon, Basit, and Musa Yakubu, also known as Agya Musah, along with their accomplices, were declared wanted on November 15, 2024. This follows the circulation of a viral video showing them issuing threats of violence.
The Police are appealing to the public for assistance in their operation, encouraging anyone with credible information to come forward.
“We urge the general public to remain calm as the Police are dedicated to ensuring peaceful, secure, and orderly communities,” the statement read.
