Sedina Tamakloe, the former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), has been sentenced to 10 years in prison with hard labor. Additionally, Daniel Axim, the former Chief Operating Officer of MASLOC, has been sentenced to five years in prison with hard labor.
Both individuals were convicted on 78 counts, including causing financial loss to the state, theft, conspiracy to steal, money laundering, and violation of public procurement laws resulting in loss of public property.
