Shooting Incident at Palace

plo

A shooting incident occurred at the palace of the chief of Ngleshie Amanfro in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra region, resulting in the arrest of one individual by the police. The incident occurred during a meeting to resolve a land dispute, much to the surprise and dismay of the traditional council members present.

The suspect, identified as Abdul Razak Larbie, brandished a firearm and indiscriminately opened fire within the palace premises. Thankfully, the prompt action of the palace guards and the police prevented any loss of life or injuries.

Concerns have been raised by the leaders handling similar incidents by the police in the past, emphasizing the need for more effective measures to serve as a deterrent. A police source confirming the occurrence of the shooting has informed Metro News that the suspect is scheduled to appear before the Weija court today.
