President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has attributed the success of his administration’s digitization initiative to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. During his State of the Nation address in parliament on Tuesday, February 27, President Akufo-Addo commended Dr. Bawumia, referring to him as “Dr. Digitalisation,” for leading the government’s efforts in digitization.
He highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s role in developing a performance tracker that will enable everyone to monitor all government projects without relying on presidential addresses. President Akufo-Addo emphasized that this initiative aims to prevent the presentation of artistic impressions as completed projects, ensuring transparency.
Additionally, the President pledged the government’s commitment to ensuring the smooth operation of the Electoral Commission (EC) during the 2024 elections.
