The NPP Canada branch has expressed their confidence in Joe Ghartey, a hopeful candidate for the flag bearer position, to lead the party and Ghana to prosperity as the country’s president. The branch has unequivocally declared its support for Mr. Ghartey’s candidacy.
Recently, the NPP Canada branch organized a Townhall meeting, which was held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, to discuss Mr. Ghartey’s vision for NPP and Ghana. During the meeting, Mr. Ghartey, a former Attorney General & Minister of Justice, presented his vision for over an hour, after he spent over two hours answering questions from the members. The queries spanned a broad range of topics, including governance, the economy, and the diaspora.
Regarding the economy, Mr. Ghartey clarified he would prioritize the private sector, believing it to be the key to expanding the economy. He also discussed how sectors such as education and transportation would help transform the economy.
