Trump took to Truth Social to announce a significant change in his legal team. He stated that he would now be represented by Todd Blanche and an upcoming law firm in his ongoing legal battle, famously referred to by him as the “Greatest Witch Hunt of all time.” This legal battle is transitioning to the Florida Courts. Todd Blanche, Esq., is already representing Trump in a New York criminal case, where the former president entered a not guilty plea in April on 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records.
Expressing his gratitude, Trump acknowledged the efforts of his former attorneys, Jim Trusty and John Rowley, in battling what he described as a highly deceitful, corrupt, evil, and unprecedented group of individuals. Trump further mentioned that he would soon be introducing additional lawyers to his legal team.
In response, Trusty and Rowley jointly released a statement confirming their resignation. They clarified that they would no longer be representing Trump in either the ongoing indicted case or the January 6 investigation. The attorneys expressed their belief that Trump would ultimately be proven innocent in his fight against what they perceive as the Biden Administration’s partisan manipulation of the American justice system.
