Ghana’s West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the BECE 2023 schedule. Religious and Moral Education 1 and 2, which is the first paper, is scheduled for Monday, August 7, besides English Language 1 and 2.
On Tuesday, August 8, 2023, students will be tested on Integrated Science 1 and 2 and Ghanaian Language and Culture 1 and 2. WAEC clarified that Papers 2 and 1 for each subject should be taken in one sitting with no breaks. If there is a discrepancy between the duration shown on the question paper and the timetable, candidates should follow the duration on the question paper.
WAEC also mentioned that candidates with visual and hearing impairments will be allowed an extra 50% of allotted time.
