Renowned gospel musician Yaw Sarpong has finally broken his silence to address serious accusations made by his estranged wife, Maame Pinamang, on a Kumasi-based radio station.
Pinamang alleged that Yaw Sarpong’s family had prevented her from seeing him and accused his backing singer, Tiwaa, of ‘snatching’ him, suggesting a romantic relationship between the two.
Yaw Sarpong clarified that he and Maame Pinamang have been divorced for nearly 20 years, shedding new light on the situation.
“I want to set the record straight. Maame Pinamang and I have been divorced for about 20 years,” Yaw Sarpong stated.
“The allegations being made are not only false but hurtful. Tiwaa has been nothing but a dedicated backing singer and a trusted colleague,” he added.
Tiwaa had previously denied any romantic involvement with Yaw Sarpong, emphasizing that their relationship is purely professional and platonic.
