Following the success of the Afrafranto Mega Victory Walk in the Ashanti Region, Alan Kyerematen, leader and presidential candidate of the Afrafranto Alliance, is bringing the event to Greater Accra. The highly anticipated walk is set for Saturday, November 2, 2024, starting at 6 a.m. at the former PTC Building, SO Filling Station, Kwame Nkrumah Circle. The event is expected to draw hundreds of thousands of supporters, sparking excitement throughout the capital.

The Mega Victory Walk aims to showcase the unity and strength of the Afrafranto Movement while building momentum for Kyerematen’s vision of citizen empowerment and economic transformation. Kyerematen, alongside his running mate Kwame Owusu Danso (KOD) and other key leaders, will use this opportunity to highlight the Alliance’s commitment to a people-centered approach to national development. Supporters are encouraged to wear yellow Afrafranto T-shirts, wave flags, and chant the “Ase3 Ho” slogan as they walk from SO Filling Station, moving through some of Accra’s most vibrant neighborhoods in a colorful display of solidarity.

The Ashanti Region’s Mega Victory Walk saw an impressive turnout, setting a high benchmark for Greater Accra to meet. The event energized the region and generated a national buzz, with Kyerematen and Danso’s outreach to women, youth, business owners, and traditional leaders resonating deeply. Greater Accra’s walk is anticipated to build on this momentum.

Challenging Ghana’s entrenched winner-takes-all system, the Afrafranto Alliance promotes a national unity government that draws top talent from all sectors and political backgrounds. This inclusive model, central to Kyerematen’s Great Transformational Plan (GTP), aims to foster collaboration over competition and create sustainable development pathways for the nation.

Excitement is mounting as supporters across Greater Accra prepare to join Kyerematen and Danso in the walk. “This walk isn’t just about showing support; it’s a statement that change is here,” shared Chris Barnes, an enthusiastic member. With chants like “Item 13: Obiaa bedidi wo ase3 ho” expected to echo through the crowd, participants are ready to demonstrate that the 2024 election transcends traditional two-party lines.

For Ghanaians seeking a fresh direction, the Mega Victory Walk in Accra promises to be a powerful celebration and a rallying call for meaningful change.
