Bob Lee has been stabbed to death

Bob Lee, the previous CTO of Square who was instrumental in launching Cash App, has passed away due to an alleged stabbing incident in San Francisco.

Lee was serving as the Chief Product Officer of MobileCoin, a cryptocurrency and digital payments startup, at the time of his death. The CEO of MobileCoin, Josh Goldbard, confirmed Lee’s death and praised him for his energy, creativity, and ability to turn his ideas into reality.

Lee’s father, Rick Lee, also confirmed the news and described his son as someone who was always willing to help others without judgment. San Francisco Mayor London Breed expressed condolences and said the police were investigating the incident.
