Delay, the popular media personality also known as Deloris Frimpong Manso, has curated a list of five Ghanaian celebrity fathers whom she considers worthy of the title of “fatherhood.” Despite the challenges of maintaining their fame and success in their respective fields, these fathers manage to strike a balance and provide for their families, particularly their children.
In a recent episode of the Delay Show, Delay commended these celebrities for upholding fatherhood ideals while meeting the demands of modern-day celebrity life.
The five celebrity fathers who made it to Delay’s list are hip-hop singer Kwaw Kese, rappers Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone, Okyeame Kwame, and former Ghanaian professional footballer Abedi Pele.
The top spot on the list was Abedi Pele, a former professional football player, because of his unwavering dedication to his family. Delay noted that Abedi Pele influenced the football careers of his three children, Dede, Jordan, and Rahim Ayew.
Coming in second was seasoned rapper Okyeame Kwame, who Delay described as a highly responsible father actively involved in his children’s lives.
Reggie Rockstone, the legendary musician known as the “Grandfather of Hiplife,” came in third on the list. Reggie and his wife, Zilla Limann, have three children together. Delay praised him as a decent husband and father who prioritizes his family.
Rapper Sarkodie, known for his busy schedule and lifestyle, was ranked fourth. Despite his many commitments, Sarkodie makes time for his two children, Titi and MJ.
Finally, rapper Kwaw Kese was selected for the list due to his devotion to his family. Delay described him as a kind father who always puts his family first.
