On Friday, May 5th, Gifty Mawunya Nkornu, the wife of actor-turned-politician John Dumelo, was among the many Ghanaians called to the bar. Her proud husband took to his social media accounts to celebrate her accomplishment. John Dumelo shared a photo of his wife donning her judicial gown and wig and another picture with their children.
He wrote, “Congratulations, my love, on being called to the Ghana Bar today. You are now Mrs. Gifty Mawunya Dumelo, Esq. I already have cases for you, lol. Love you.” They married in 2018 and have two children together.
