Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers for 2026 against Mali and the Central African Republic will proceed without the presence of Ghana captain Andre Ayew.
Thomas Partey and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku are included in the squad, but the most notable absence is that of Black Stars captain Andre Ayew.
Coach Otto Addo announced the squad on Wednesday, confirming Ayew’s exclusion.
In their World Cup qualifying campaign, Otto Addo’s team will travel to Bamako to face Mali on June 6. Four days later, they will host the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
