Today, on June 9, 2023, the final resting place of Modestus Eloame Zame, the late Lead Camera Technician of The Multimedia Group, was solemnly observed. The burial service was held at the Transitions Funeral Home in Haatso, Accra, commencing at 10:30 am.

Draped in black attire, family members, company staff, team members, and close friends passed by the remains to bid their farewell.

Fondly known as Pacus, he leaves behind a wife and three children. Following the funeral, a private ceremony was held to inter his mortal remains, leaving many in attendance grappling with the loss.

A Thanksgiving service to honor Modestus will take place on Sunday, June 11, at 7:00 am, at the Adonai Revival Church in Ghana, specifically at Pantang Borla Road.

Tributes were shared during the proceedings. Raymond Larbi, from The Multimedia Group’s Human Resource Department, read a tribute on behalf of the company. He acknowledged Modestus, or Pacus, as a compassionate team leader who cared deeply for his colleagues. Raymond expressed the pain and sadness caused by Modestus’ untimely demise, emphasizing the need to focus on celebrating his life rather than dwelling on sorrow.

In a touching tribute, Modestus’ widow, Lordina Dzifa Zame, spoke of him as a loving husband and devoted father. She expressed the difficulty in accepting his sudden departure and the feeling of an irreplaceable void within the family. Lordina recounted the heartbreaking moment when Modestus passed away on April 13, 2023, acknowledging his gentle fight for survival.

Modestus’ mother, Madam Comfort Gablah, shared her profound sorrow at the loss of her son. She described him as a modest and kind-hearted individual, highlighting his ability to make everyone feel comfortable and appreciated. Madam Comfort expressed gratitude for the privilege of being Modestus’ mother and celebrated his touching, loving, and modest life.

The children also conveyed a heartfelt message to their father, expressing their deep longing for him and the cherished memories they shared. They mourned the loss of future experiences and promised to find solace in their faith, believing that those who die in Christ will rise again.

Modestus Eloame Zame was born on October 15, 1979, to Dr. Martin Yao Zame and Madam Comfort Gablah. He was the third child among four siblings. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lordina Dzifa Zame, and their three wonderful children: Mawulikplim Yao Zame, Mawuena Ablah Zame, and Mawunyo Aku Zame.

Modestus’ educational journey began at Madina Estate Primary School in Accra, followed by his Junior Secondary School education at Haatso Calvary Presby Basic School. He attended Keta Senior High Technical School (Ketasco) in the Volta Region from 1997 to 1999.

Driven by his passion for capturing the essence of his surroundings and telling stories, Modestus pursued a career in Photography. He obtained an Advanced Photography Certification from Tema Technical Institute in 2003 and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Motion Picture Photography in 2008 from the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI) in Accra. Throughout his career, Modestus received additional training in Photography from DW Akademie in Ghana and Germany.
