President Akufo-Addo awarded an honorary degree

“The future of our nation hinges on our commitment to nurturing a robust scientific ecosystem,” remarked President Akufo-Addo, highlighting his administration’s steadfast support for educational institutions like UHAS. “This honorary degree is not just a personal honor but a testament to the collective effort towards building a knowledge-driven society.”

 

The ceremony concluded with a symbolic ribbon-cutting for the China Phase 2 project, symbolizing a new chapter in UHAS’s journey towards academic excellence and healthcare innovation. The honoring was led by the council chairman of the university, Justice J.M. Dotse, and assisted by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lydia Aziato, along with other prominent figures.
