Ghanaian music sensation Stonebwoy brought his distinctive sound and authentic dancehall experience to Marina Green Park in L.A., California, headlining this year’s Cali Vibes Festival on Saturday, February 17.

Renowned in contemporary Afropop for his profound lyricism and global music achievements, the artist delivered a captivating performance at the festival’s Boomyard Stage. This marked Stonebwoy’s first international appearance in two months, following his successful BHIM Festival at the Accra Sports Stadium in Ghana on December 22, where he reaffirmed his status as one of Africa’s most exciting musical exports.


During his set, Stonebwoy treated the audience to an electrifying showcase of his hit songs, seamlessly blending infectious rhythms with poignant storytelling. From chart-toppers like “Gidigba,” “Run Go,” “People Dey,” “Non-Stop,” and “Apotheke” to soul-stirring anthems, he demonstrated his musical versatility. In a special tribute to the legendary Bob Marley, Stonebwoy delivered a stirring remake of “Buffalo Soldier,” showcasing his vocal prowess. The artist commanded the stage with magnetic presence, creating an energy that reverberated throughout the venue.


With an upcoming global tour, including the Rolling Cocoa Festival in Washington DC on March 9 and the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in California from June 21 to 23, Stonebwoy’s musical journey continues. Notable stops include the Island Rock Concert on February 23 and the Austin Reggae Festival in Texas on April 19, promising audiences an unforgettable experience filled with infectious rhythms and uplifting vibes.


Reportedly working on his highly anticipated sixth studio album, Stonebwoy’s latest release, expected to follow his successful “5th Dimension” album from 2023, remains shrouded in mystery.
