A scene created by a talented 14-year-old boy has been included in the latest installment of the immensely popular Spider-Man film series, all thanks to his remarkable skills showcased on social media.

Living in Canada, Preston Mutanga reconstructed the “Across the Spider-Verse” trailer using LEGO blocks, replicating every shot precisely. After catching wind of Mutanga’s talent, Christopher Miller, a writer, and producer involved in the film, was introduced to it by a colleague. Miller exclaimed to Rotten Tomatoes, “Look at this! We should have this kid do the animation.”

Following this revelation, the team contacted Mutanga and his family, extending a contract offer for him to contribute to the film. True to his dedication, Mutanga produced the shots that made it into the final product during his spring break from school, even committing to revising his work after completing his homework. Miller joyfully remarked, “It was a delight.”

Expressing his delight, Mutanga shared, “I loved the first movie and was incredibly excited for the second one, so collaborating with the actual creators of this masterpiece felt like a dream come true.”

According to the New York Times, the aspiring animator intends to pursue a full-time career.
