The Akufo-Addo-led administration is set to unveil the “Ghana Smart School Project” initiative today, Monday, March 25, 2024, in a bid to enhance digitalization and e-learning.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will introduce the program, which seeks to enhance senior high school education nationwide by providing electronic devices, digital learning content, and teaching and learning management systems to all senior/TVET schools.
A statement from the Ministry of Education, issued by its Spokesperson Kwasi Kwarteng ahead of the launch, outlined that the initiative is in line with the Ministry’s agenda for digitalizing pre-tertiary education.
Furthermore, the statement highlighted that the initiative supports the government’s objective of utilizing technological advancements to equip Ghanaian students for the challenges and opportunities presented by the fourth industrial revolution.
