A man has been apprehended by the Ghana Police in connection with the tragic shooting of a soldier at Millennium City in Kasoa, Central Region.
As per a police report, the suspect, identified as Benlord Ababio, is accused of shooting the soldier on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, around 4:20 p.m.
Following the incident, the victim was promptly transported to Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa, where unfortunately, he was pronounced deceased.
At present, Ababio is under police custody and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
Authorities from the Ghana Police are collaborating closely with the Ghana Armed Forces as they continue to delve into the matter.
