Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the Independent Presidential candidate and founder of the Movement for Change (MFC), is urging Ghanaians to reject both the NDC and the NPP in the upcoming 2024 polls, asserting that these parties have nothing innovative to offer the country.
Addressing a substantial gathering of volunteers during an orientation program in Accra, known popularly as Alan Cash, the former Trade and Industry Minister, challenged the presidential candidates of the NDC and NPP, Mahama and Bawumia respectively, questioning the novelty of their ideas for Ghana. Kyerematen emphasized the need for fresh perspectives and a new approach to governance to ensure sustained development in the country.
In his call to action, Kyerematen urged the youth, who are the future leaders, and Ghanaians from all walks of life to join the MFC movement and collectively work towards rescuing Ghana from the influence of the NDC and NPP in the 2024 General Election.
During the orientation program, attended by over 150,000 volunteers, Kyerematen outlined his vision for Ghana and underscored the necessity of a third force in Ghana’s political landscape. He criticized the lack of special or new offerings from the traditional political parties, describing their approach as adhering to an outdated format of governance. Kyerematen’s decision to withdraw from the Presidential race within the New Patriotic Party was fueled by alleged machinations behind the scenes favoring a particular candidate.
