Sarkodie, Mr Drew, IGP, others commiserate with Kojo Antwi at dad’s 40 Days Observance

The 40 day celebration of Opanin Kwadwo Asiamah Asubonten, the father of highlife legend Kojo Antwi whose death was announced on January 2, was marked today, February 11, 2023. He died at age 104

The event was attended by notable personalities from across various spheres who commiserated with the highlife legend, Kojo Antwi. Among the personalities spotted were Sarkodie, Mr Drew, and Kwaku Kyei Darkwah (KKD).

In a tribute to his dad, Kojo Antwi said “We are all little branches of the mighty tree that you were in this life. You did the best you could for your family. I may not have understood you as a child but I have appreciated and celebrated you since becoming an adult.”

He left behind his widow and 17 children.
