Thelma Baffour played a vital role in Jonina Ladies’ remarkable achievement in the GARFA women’s Division One league zone (B), where they maintained a flawless record, winning all their matches and scoring an impressive 120 goals in just 18 games.
During April, Thelma’s outstanding all-around performance earned her the title of the best player of the month.
On Sunday, at the Accra Sports Stadium, Epiphany Warriors FC emerged as the GARFA women’s Division One champions, securing victory over Jonina Ladies FC by a solitary goal in a highly expected match known as the “Champions of Champions” clash. This thrilling encounter featured the winners of both GARFA women’s Division One zones: Epiphany Warriors FC (Group A winners) and Jonina Ladies FC (Group B winners), who fiercely battled it out for the ultimate GARFA women’s Division One championship.
