The Supreme Court has ruled that Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin’s declaration of four parliamentary seats as vacant is unconstitutional.   In a 5-2 decision on Tuesday, November 12, Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo stated that the Speaker misinterpreted Article 97(1)(g) of the Constitution in making this announcement.   Source:Omanghana.com
