KODA to go home on June 5th, 2024

The final funeral ceremonies for the esteemed Gospel icon, KODA, are scheduled for June 5, 2024, at the Kingsway International Christian Centre [KICC] situated on Spintex Road in Accra.

This date was officially disclosed during the One-Week commemoration of the late gospel luminary, which took place in Takoradi. The event, held on Friday, May 10, saw a gathering of mourners, including revered Ghanaian music figures like Pastor Joe Beecham and Uncle Ato, who came together to honor the departed singer.

Augustine Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, known fondly as KODA, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. Throughout his career, the late gospel maestro crafted numerous chart-topping hits, among them ‘Nsempii,’ ‘Nkwa Abodoo,’ ‘Yapai,’ and ‘Adorso.’
