President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is slated to deliver the State of the Nation Address (SoNA) to Parliament on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
According to Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, the government is mandated to present an annual address that outlines the key policy objectives for the year and outlines plans to address the current state of the economy.
In Parliament, Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu announced the schedule and reminded members of their duty to attend the session.
The State of the Nation Address serves as a pivotal platform for the President to communicate the administration’s goals and priorities to the citizens of the country.
